1st Round: Landon Collins, SS (Alabama)

The Alabama Crimson Tide have a tendency to have great defensive prospects represent them in the NFL Draft. Collins is a hard-hitting strong safety who could be even better than Antrel Rolle was in his prime.

This is a massive upgrade at a huge area of need for the Giants. Collins has the speed and the ball skills of a free safety but he hits like a linebacker. Collins is a great in the box safety who is not restricted to that role.

In fact he may be the most versatile safety prospect since Troy Polamalu was drafted in 2003. Collins is literally that good of a player. He will be an instant leader for a Giants defense that did little well this past season.

Collins is a rare athlete and he has a skill set that you could not find a comparable match to past the 1st round.
