6th Round: Brandon Bridge, QB (South Alabama)

It seems doubtful that Brandon Bridge could be the Giants starter in the near future, but Brandon Bridge is an appealing athlete. You never know who is going to be the next Tom Brady, a 6th round pick that becomes a great quarterback.

Bridge is a dual threat quarterback. He is a quick quarterback who depends too heavily on his legs. He showed NFL talent at South Alabama, but this talent is raw and untested.

It is a big step from South Alabama to the NFL. This small school quarterback is a project that the Giants could develop. If the Giants are not sold on Ryan Nassib as a backup quarterback, Bridge could compete right away to be Eli Manning‘s understudy.

There is no harm in taking a project in the 6th round. Bridge has the talent, he just doesn’t seem ready to start right away.
