7th Round: C.J. Uzomah, TE (Auburn)
I think that Uzomah is a player whose draft stock is too low, because the Auburn Tigers use the tight end so infrequently. Uzomah only had 29 receptions for 435 yards and seven touchdowns but he has the physical tool set to be a good tight end in the NFL.
He is a good red zone threat with his big 6-5 frame. He has good hands and decent but not great speed. I think he can be a playmaker, I really do. Uzomah is a strong blocker, so if nothing else he can fill a role as a blocking tight end.
The Giants could use a little more help at the tight end position. This makes Uzomah an interesting option in the 7th round of the draft.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Giants mock draft. While all these players are realistic options for the Giants, they are not predictions for each pick. Instead they are the perfect player for each draft pick. These are the players the Giants should target for picks in each respective round.
