10. Randy Gregory, DE (Nebraska)

Randy Gregory is a risky prospect for more than just one reason. The most pressing red flag is his failed drug test at the NFL Scouting Combine.

This is a big time mistake, because the player knows way in advance that he will be tested for marijuana and other drugs. Failing the drug test at the combine is an utter embarrassment, it shows that the player cannot make good decisions. It makes you question whether the player has a serious drug problem or does not take his job-to-be seriously enough.

There are also problems with Gregory on the field. His college stats did not show the problem areas in his game. At Nebraska he had 17.5 sacks in two seasons. The problem is though that he won off the edge because he was bigger and faster in college football, and it hid problems in his game.

Gregory is an unpolished defensive end who does not fire off the line of scrimmage. He has great acceleration despite his slow first step. He also is a one dimensional player who needs to develop into more than just a pass rusher.

Next: 9. Marcus Peters, CB (Washington)
