Top 5 Running Backs

1. Melvin Gordon (Wisconsin): Gordon has off the charts talent and is quite possibly the next Adrian Peterson in the NFL. He is a do it all kind of running back that is worthy of a 1st round selection.

2. Todd Gurley (Georgia): Gurley is one of the most exciting players in this draft class. He has power and speed and he is a threat to take it to the house any time he touches the football. Injury concerns and durability concerns are what knocks him to the number two spot.

3. Ameer Abdullah (Nebraska): Abdullah is a speedy and elusive running back who is hard to catch when he has a full head of steam. He is also a very good receiver out of the backfield.

4. Jay Ajayi (Boise State): Ajayi is a physical running back who seems to run angry. He is also a good receiving running back with big play potential.

5. Duke Johnson (Miami): Johnson is a dazzling rusher who has great vision and is the most elusive player on this list. He can do it all at the running back position.
