5. The Incident Is Blown out of Proportion

Folks, I get that he broke rules and I’ve heard multiple people say “well if he made this mistake at the biggest job interview of his life then what else will he do?” Let’s cool it.

He’s a kid, this is what they do. Have you ever been to college these days? Pot is smoked regularly and without much enforcement against it. I’m not promoting or validating his mistake, but this isn’t exactly a severe drug addiction.

States have it legalized, almost 100 million Americans have admitted to using it during their lifetimes, and even former NFL player Lomas Brown admitted that at least 50% of the league smokes marijuana. Again, I’m not condoning it, but I don’t think its something that will linger with the right structure enforced.
