9. Benardrick McKinney, LB (Mississippi State)

McKinney is an incredible athlete at the middle linebacker position. He has sideline to sideline speed, he has a high football IQ and he can stay on the field in passing situations.

McKinney is a safe pick because he can do it all on defense. He can play either outside linebacker if he needs to. He is a good blitzer and he is good in space, coverage is not a weakness for this linebacker.

There is always a spot on your roster for a player like McKinney. Versatility and tons of potential are the things that behoove McKinney’s draft stock the most. It also does not hurt that he is a phenomenal tackler and a leader.

This is not only a low risk draft pick, but one with high potential as well. You have to be intrigued by McKinney, who has all the physical tools and ability that you could want in a linebacker.
