9. Trae Waynes, CB (Michigan State)

Waynes is the best shut down cornerback in this draft class. He is physical at the line with receivers and he is very aggressive. With the perfect size and recovery speed for a cornerback, Waynes is a master at bump and run coverage.

Waynes is a good tackler who will do his part against the run. He put on a show at the NFL combine, running a 4.31 second 40 yard dash and reaching 38 inches on the vertical jump.

Waynes could very well be the next player to be feared at the cornerback position. He could be the next Richard Sherman or Patrick Peterson type cornerback in the NFL.

Waynes is a fantastic cornerback with sky high potential. The Giants have more pressing needs, but he is a top ten option.
