4. Danny Shelton, DT (Washington)

Shelton is a huge immovable force on the defensive line, with the quickness and the athletic ability to make a mammoth impact on any defense. I have often said that a young Haloti Ngata, was the most incredible defensive tackle I have ever seen; Shelton looks like a replica of Ngata.

Shelton has the ability to penetrate, he is not just a space eating monster. He has some pass rushing ability as well. He has quick feet, a high motor and an explosive launch off the line of scrimmage.

There is no doubt in my mind that Shelton would impact the entire defense if the Giants were able to draft him. Shelton can demand double teams which will make the defensive front harder to stop. You cannot double team Pierre-Paul and Shelton at the same time.

Shelton is a rare difference maker on the defensive line. Defensive tackles are seldom thought of as top five prospects. Shelton however is unbelievably good.
