3. Shane Ray, OLB (Missouri)

Shane Ray is an unbelievable pass rusher who is also very disciplined against the run. Ray may be the best pass rusher in a draft class that has many incredible pass rushing options.

Ray reminds me of Terrell Suggs, with his tenacious style and his lethal  combination of size and speed. Ray is 6-3 and weighs 245 pounds. He can knock offensive tackles off-balance with his strength and cut inside of them with his quickness. He can win off the edge and he can win by bull rushing. This is a jack of all trades.

Ray projects best as a stand up outside linebacker in the 3-4 defense, but he could be a star with his hand in the dirt as a 4-3 defensive end. Ray is one of those players that projects well in any defense. He is that good.

It is highly doubtful that Ray lasts to the 9th pick. If he does he is the no brainer pick for the Giants.

Next: 2. Leonard Williams, DE (USC)
