<p>Last season, the Chargers started about 57 centers so yeah, its a need. Cameron Erving is the best center on the board and the Chargers could go a few directions here, but Erving seems like the right pick.</p> <p>Look, he’s a center, he blocks well, he’s shown to be very productive with Jameis Winston and he has great size at 6-foot 5-inches and 313 pounds. There’s not many eye-popping stats or anything like that based on his position, but he’s shown to excel in run-blocking and fits a positional need.</p> <p>Many have mocked San Diego to take a running back at this pick, but I would say the offensive line takes priority.</p>.
