44. <p>The Falcons defensive personal is atrocious. To go anywhere but the defensive side of the football in the 1st-round would be a joke. This group is going to take a couple of years to really turn around, but Shane Ray could be an integral part in doing so.</p> <p>Ray offers a pass rushing option that the Falcons desperately need. Last season, the team ranked 30th in sacks and last in yards allowed. The need is there and the pick makes complete sense as Ray is more of a 4-3 defensive end fitting the Falcons scheme.</p> <p>Ray’s length isn’t great, but is surely made up with a high motor and passion for the game.
