3. Fill A Desperate Need

It is hard to argue that the strong safety position is a desperate need for the Giants. Antrel Rolle will not be with the Giants in 2015, he will signed with the Chicago Bears. The Giants have no experienced option at strong safety on the roster.

Collins is an instant upgrade at the position. In fact he will likely become a player that would be better than Rolle was in his prime. Collins is less limited than Rolle was, with more athletic ability.

The backend of the defense needs to be addressed. Do you really feel comfortable with Cooper Taylor and Nat Berhe as your only options at the safety positions? The Giants have other needs, but no need is more drastic than this one.
