Reason 1. Can’t Find A Comparable Alternative

The 2015 NFL Draft is deep at offensive guard, offensive tackle and pass rushers. You can get a good linebacker to put in the middle of your defense in the 2nd round. The Giants other needs are needs they can address later on in the draft.

You can’t find a player better than Collins at his position, you can’t even find a player that is comparable. We have already established that the Giants have a desperate need at the strong safety position which makes this very alarming.

The Giants cannot afford to pass on Collins, because this is their best chance at fixing the position heading into the 2015 season. The Giants have other needs but they cannot afford to pass on this solution at the strong safety position.
