3. Clayton Geathers, UCF

Clayton Geathers is a 6’2″, 218 pounds safety from Central Florida. He’s also played the running back position and is all about toughness. Geathers is a big hitter and a smart one at that. He has good speed and defensive instincts that would work well on the Giants’ defensive secondary.

Geathers does very well in reading plays and reacting quickly as he had 3 interceptions in his final college season. Geathers put up good scores at the 2015 NFL Combine with a 4.55 in the 40-yard dash, a vertical jump in 37.0 seconds and a cone drill in 7.21 seconds.

The Giants need a defensive weapon like this. A very fearful safety that will intimidate other NFL teams. Geathers play style under Spagnuolo would be awesome.
