8. T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
T.J. Clemmings is sort of an unknown commodity. Scouts have fallen in love with his athletic ability, but are really unsure how long his raw skills will take to blossom into a starter at the next level.
Clemmings, was a former high school basketball player, so teams have drooled over what he can become considering the great NFL talents that have converted from the basketball court to the football field like Antonio Gates, Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez. I find it ironic how all those that I just mentioned were all tight ends and not offensive lineman, weird.
He’s a bit inexperienced at the position, but is still finding his way into the 1st-round in many mock drafts. He could be a very risky play that early.
