3. Shane Ray, Missouri
Ray is an all around astounding football player and athlete. He can fit into any defense as the perfect edge rusher. He uses his speed to breeze past offensive lineman and make his way to the quarterback. Ray boasts an impressive 4.68 40-yard dash time. Its’ going to be difficult for any team with a top 10 pick to pass on him.
Personally, I think he would be a great asset in defending against any read-option quarterbacks. He has the ability to keep up with the Russell Wilson and Colin Kaepernick types. Plenty of teams have trouble against the read option and Ray could be that player to explode onto the scene.
Prediction: Drafted by the Chicago Bears
Next: 2. Randy Gregory, Nebraska
