What if I told you there was a player that had a Tavon Austin like skill set that you could draft in the 4th round or maybe even later? Well if you’re excited about that proposition, let me introduce Stefon Diggs of the Maryland Terrapins.

Diggs is an explosive talent who can make incredible catches and can take a simple slant route to the house. Diggs ran a 4.46 yard 40 yard dash at the 2015 NFL Scouting Combine. Diggs is a great red zone threat, because he is always open over his head.

The fear of investing an early round pick on Diggs is more than justified. Two seasons in a row, Diggs has suffered from season ending injuries. Not only do scouts question Diggs ability to stay healthy, but because of his injuries there is less game tape to evaluate.

The bottom line is that Diggs may fall under the radar, and he could be a draft steal. If he is there in the 5th round, the Giants should consider drafting him. If he can stay healthy he has 2nd round talent.
