The 2015 NFL Draft is almost here so it’s time touch bases on all possibilities. The draft is about as unpredictable an environment the NFL has. Players are going to be taken at spots that make people scratch their head, while others will fall dramatically from the area they’ve been projected for months.
As an organization you must embrace every possibility and do your homework for every possible scenario. The New York Giants hold the 9th overall pick in this April’s draft and are really in a great position to do a couple of things.
One, they can select the best player available that fits what they’re trying to accomplish, but the other is to trade their position in order to accumulate draft picks to fit a wide range of needs. To be honest this draft doesn’t feel very deep.
Yes, the receiver and running back position is strong, and there are even some good pass rushers, but the top 15 really separate themselves from the rest of the draft, which may make teams more inclined to trade up for superior talent.
Here are the 5 teams that could trade up to the Giants much desired 9th overall pick.
