4. Buffalo Bills
Many around the New York Jets felt they were extremely conservative in the 2014 offseason, which led to a 4 win season and the firing of head coach Rex Ryan. Well, Rex is now in Buffalo and being conservative is the last thing this franchise has been since his hiring.
They’ve added All-Pro running back LeSean McCoy, playmaker Percy Harvin, and tight end Charles Clay. Not to mention a defense that was already elite before Rex came aboard, and you possibly have the making of a team that could make things tough for the rest of the AFC.
So, why stop now? Would it really surprise you if Buffalo decided to jump into the meat of the draft and possibly select a Brandon Scherff to beef up the run game or maybe even a Mariota to play the Mark Sanchez role that Rex once created in New York? I wouldn’t.
Now, Buffalo doesn’t hold a 1st-round pick this season after they traded up for Sammy Watkins last year, but maybe a combination of the Bills 2nd, 3rd round, and possibly a late round pick next season could make this happen.
