2. San Diego Chargers

Plenty of rumors have been swirling regarding the Chargers and Marcus Mariota as of late and I can’t rule that possibility out either. Mariota does have a chance to drop to the Giants pick -even though I realistically think he’s taken in the top 5- and if he does the Giants should be licking their chops.

This could lead to San Diego offering their 17th overall pick to New York as well as many other future picks because of who they are acquiring and the potential of what a franchise quarterback could bring to an organization.

San Diego could decide to move up to this spot and take a wideout like Kevin White or Amari Cooper to aid Philip Rivers, or maybe even go to the defensive side and add a pass rusher like Vic Beasley or Randy Gregory if they happen to fall to that spot.

Does San Diego need to make this trade? Probably not. I think they’re a dark horse team heading into 2015 and a major shakeup at the quarterback position may not make sense, but like any team they have their imperfections and may look to move up in the draft to deal with them.

Next: 1. Philadelphia Eagles
