1. The Browns Trade The Newly Acquired 6th Pick and Their 19th Pick To The Tennessee Titans
The Browns will make draft day history by making two huge blockbuster trades. First striking a deal with the Jets for their 6th overall pick and then packaging it with their 19th overall pick to trade for the Titans’ number two spot in the draft. They will then draft Marcus Mariota and start what they hope will be an era of quarterback stability.
Mariota has a totally different outlook on the NFL than Johnny Manziel. He is an all around nice guy, cares about his teammates, would never be involved in any scandal, and seems like he would do whatever he can to benefit his team. Attitude wise, he’s every NFL coaches dream. Manziel is a troublemaker and it seems as if the Browns’ organization wants to give up on him.
Why would the Browns risk all this for an unproven rookie? Because it’s the smartest thing to do. The Browns wasted a first round pick on Manziel last year and trading him away in order to draft Mariota only makes sense to make up for it. They have nothing to loose at this point.
The Browns are in desperate need for excitement and a big change. This move will ensure excitement in not only Browns’ fans, but all NFL fans. This is their chance to make a statement to NFL.
