Next we move on to the stocky MyCole Pruitt from Southern Illinois. The senior declared for the 2015 NFL Draft and rightly so as he displays a glaring speed that tight ends desire. Pruitt made is mark for Southern Illinois with quick movement and swift feet getting down the field. Pruitt also has the ability to fool defenders and create extra room to make the grab.

During his career, he’s the first player in Southern Illinois history to be named consensus All-American in back-to-back seasons. Pruitt hopes of continuing his accolades in the NFL as he has the ability to do so.Pruitt leaves college with holding the conference records in career catches with 211 receptions, 2,601 receiving yards and 25  touchdowns as a tight end.

He does a stellar job when going one on one with the defender which makes him a force in the position. With an aggressive upper body, Pruitt does an amazing job as a blocker which is a fine tool to have. The flaw in Pruitt’s game is his route running as it seems to lazy and not at full speed. Pruitt needs to have that second wind if he wants to make it in the big leagues as he seems to tire easy.

If Pruitt wants to be that deciding factor for any NFL squad he needs to continue to be versatile in his position and get his route running in order, if he does, then get familiar with his name.
