2. Tyron Smith (2011)

The Dallas Cowboys drafted offensive tackle Tyron Smith from USC in hopes of solidifying their offensive line. Their dreams came true as the 6’5″, 320lb Smith became the anchor for what is now considered one of the best offensive lines in the NFL.

Tyron has progressed quickly and has become one of the best tackles in the game due to his dominance in both run blocking and pass protecting. The Cowboys signed the Pro Bowl tackle to a massive 10-year, $109 million dollar deal with $40 million guaranteed in 2014, which means they will have their foundation on their offensive line set for many years to come.
