3. Paul Dawson, LB (TCU)

This is a linebacker who will be taken in the second round, but he may be a draft steal. Dawson has rare sideline to sideline speed and he is good in coverage. His speed also comes into play as a blitzing force to be reckoned with.

There are some character concerns, and he is not a textbook tackler, though athleticism wins out in the NFL. With a little maturing and some tough love coaching, he can be a flat out dominant force in the middle of any defense.

Dawson is a hard-hitting, high motor player who will make plays all over the field. He has all the power you would expect from a middle linebacker, but he has more athletic ability than the NFL is used to.
