1. David Cobb, RB (Minnesota)
This is a player that really caught my eye during the Senior Bowl. He was on my radar before, but he really made an impression. Cobb is a physical rusher with some elusiveness and he may not be the biggest, but he is hard to bring down.
Cobb has a low center of gravity and he is just 5-10. It is hard to get lower pad level than Cobb, who bounces off tacklers like he’s playing bumper cars at a carnival. Cobb also has talents as a receiver out of the backfield.
Cobb is a guy that you could probably get in the 4th round of this draft. I think he may be one of the biggest draft steals. He has talent that is comparable to a young Ray Rice.
Cobb is an exciting and fun player to watch. He 1,626 yards and 13 touchdowns in the 2014 season. That’s not easy sledding in the Big 10, and the numbers are quite impressive.
