Week 3: Vs. Redskins

Another important divisional game pops up in week three. The Giants swept the Redskins last year and will look to do so again. The Redskins are going to try to pressure Manning and exploit their weaknesses. That means the Giants’ defense will see a lot of read-option plays coming their way.

Steve Spagnuolo and the Giants’ defense will fall into the trap and struggle against the read option plays just like last year. They will give Robert Griffin some room to run. However, the Giants will not let that get to them. They will pull out a win here and Manning will surprisingly rush for a touchdown like he did last year.

Prediction: Giants win 28-17
