28. P.J. Williams, CB (FSU)

Williams is one of the best cornerbacks in this draft class. He is a very athletic corner with good cover skills. Williams has the ideal size and physical attributes that you look for in a cornerback.

One of the most underrated attributes for cornerbacks is vertical giftedness. Williams can jump up and contest any receiver. Williams performed well at the NFL Combine in this area with a 40 inch vertical jump.

Williams doesn’t have top speed for a cornerback in the NFL, but he makes up for it with great technique. His cover skills really are wonderful.

Williams could be a big time playmaker in the NFL. He has the size and skill to be a pain in the neck for any receiver he is covering.

Next: 29. Eli Harold, OLB (Virginia)
