2015 NFL Mock Draft: Alvin Dupree Is A Giant

20 of 33

Nov 1, 2014; Columbia, MO, USA; Kentucky Wildcats running back Stanley Williams (18) is tackled by Missouri Tigers defensive lineman Shane Ray (56) during the second half at Faurot Field. Missouri won 20-10. Mandatory Credit: Denny Medley-USA TODAY Sports

The Browns play a 3-4 defense scheme so Ray could play as a rushing outside linebacker, and at this slot does make sense considering where many are mocking him at. Ray can add a pass rushing element that the Browns need at this point- one of many things they need I might add.

Finally, Shane Ray is off the board. You’re probably thinking I dropped Shane Ray this low because of his latest injury scare, right? Not really, I just don’t think he’s worthy of a top 10 pick.

The “high motor” players always scare me because it says to me that they lack the same skill and size as others so the only thing that makes them standout is their hustle. Now, I’m not knocking his hustle, but to bank a top 10 pick on that gives me a cause for pause.
