Defensive Tackle. Texas. Malcolm Brown. 21. player. 56.
Let’s face it, Geno Atkins just wasn’t the same old Geno Atkins last year after missing the 2013 year due to injury. Malcolm Brown is one of the better interior defensive lineman in the draft and would add a nice 1-2 punch alongside Atkins.

Brown, brings prototypical size for a 4-3 defensive lineman as well as great athleticism to be effective both in the run and pass game. It’s not a flashy pick, but it strengthens up an area of the field that quite frankly doesn’t garner the attention it deserves.

This pick won’t jolt the Bengals to Super Bowl contention by any means, but I’m not sure any player in this draft would. The Bengals will always be mediocre. It’s just in their blood.
