player. 50.
Does Melvin Gordon really last this long? Not sure. Let’s remember over the past couple of years the scarcity of Running backs taken in the 1st-round. Unless they’re a complete homerun pick it’s going to be tough to get taken high.

Gordon has outstanding speed especially in the open field where he is near impossible to catch. He also possess great balance and power when making contact with defenders. The only downside to his game is his receiving skills, which might hurt his draft stock considering the reliance on pass-catching backs in today’s NFL.

The Lions have dealt with many Running back issues over the course of the pass few seasons and Gordon would be an instant upgrade and a great value pick at the number 23 pick. Gordon is the right pick here.
. Running Back. Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon. 23
