Brown is one of the best defensive tackle prospects in this draft class. He is perfect for the 3-4 defense, which the Lions may be switching to with defensive coordinator Tyrell Austin in the coming years. Brown will also excel in the 4-3 defense as well.
Brown has a great first step and is very strong. He is a dominant defensive tackle with the ability to penetrate and cause havoc in the backfield. He has a high football IQ and makes many plays because of this fact.

Brown is 6-2 and weighs 319 pounds. He had 6.5 sacks in 2014. He is more of a run stuffer as an interior lineman but he has good pass rushing ability. In 2013 Brown only had one sack, which shows you the tremendous growth in his game he has made.

Brown will be asked to fill the awfully big shoes of Ndamukong Suh. Its a tall order but he can develop into that type of player for the Lions.
. Defensive Tackle. Texas. Malcom Brown. 23. player. 50
