32.
Melvin Gordon is one of the best college football running backs of all time, its a bold statement I have no problem saying. Gordon is absolutely a special running back. If I had to compare him to a running back it would be Adrian Peterson.

Gordon has a rare combination of speed, power, elusiveness, you name it and this player has it. When he gets a full head of steam Gordon is almost impossible to stop. Just look at the numbers that this rusher put up as a Wisconsin Badger.
<div class=. Running Back. Wisconsin. Melvin Gordon. 24. player

Gordon rushed for 2,587 rushing yards in 2014 and had 29 touchdowns. He rushed for a total of 4,915 yards in his four years of college football. The insane bit of truth is that he didn’t become the feature back until 2013. In his first two seasons he got just 82 rushing attempts. This man put up numbers in the past two seasons that defy the typical constraints of reality. Its like a video game.

The Cardinals have a high flying offense when Carson Palmer is healthy. But as the Cardinals learned the hard way last season Palmer’s health is something that you cannot count on. Therefore you have to add balance to the offense with the running game. Melvin Gordon does that.
