Nov 29, 2014; Louisville, KY, USA; Louisville Cardinals wide receiver Kai De La Cruz (12) catches a pass under the pressure of Kentucky Wildcats defensive end Alvin Dupree (2) during the second half at Papa John

Outside Linebacker. Kentucky. Alvin Dupree. 27. player. 123.
With the Greg Hardy suspension, the Cowboys still have a need at the pass rushing department. The Cowboys therefore select Alvin Dupree.

Dupree is a long and explosive athlete from Kentucky. He will be a strong run stuffer as an outside linebacker in the 3-4 defense. He has the potential to be a great pass rusher, though he is rather raw. Dupree could have an incredibly high ceiling though. He has the physical tool set to be a dynamic player that offensive tackles just can’t handle.

Dupree is 6-4 and 269 pounds. He ran a 4.56 second 40 yard dash at the NFL Combine, but his game speed seems faster than that. His impressive vertical jump and broad jump display how amazingly explosive he can be.

The Cowboys go a great player at a great value. This could be bad news for Eli Manning who will have too avoid Dupree twice per season.
