player. 35.
Well the big winners are the Titans here. They weren’t sold on Mariota and the Buccaneers took a tough decision away from them. The Titans decide to take Winston, instead of the draft picks they could get for him. This is a new start for the Titans, and Ken Wisenhunt is the perfect coach for Jameis Winston. Being the general manager for every team in this mock draft, I have to give the coach what he wants, while ensuring the best future for the team.

There will be plenty of offers for the number two selection but none of them are in the best interests of the Titans. Phillip Rivers is not a long term answer, that’s why the San Diego Chargers are willing to give away their star quarterback in the first place. None of the trade offers match the high potential that drafting Winston brings.

The Titans cannot pass up on Winston, the pressure to draft him would be to great. Even though I am not Winston’s biggest fan, I have to admit the idea of the Titans passing on him is rather remote if he is available.

While Winston needs a lot of coaching, he has the talent to be special. He is clutch, he has arm talent and he is a mobile passer who is hard to bring down. Winston will give the Titans a fresh start. One way or another it will give energy to the team and its fan base.
. Quarterback. FSU. Jameis Winston. 2
