NFL First Round Mock Draft: Danny Shelton Is A Giant

Outside Linebacker. Clemson. Vic Beasley. 8. player. 44. <p>The Falcons need to get better at rushing the passer. In fact they need to get better at pretty much everything on defense. Vic Beasley is so talented, it almost seems supernatural. He is an explosive athlete with the length, speed and size to be dominant. Beasley has had 25 sacks in the last two seasons at Clemson.</p> <p>Beasley put on a show at the NFL Combine. He put up an impressive 4.53 second 40 yard dash and an incredible 35 reps on the bench press. Beasley made an argument that day that he was the best athlete in the entire draft. It is a valid argument, Beasley is quite impressive.</p> <p>The Falcons defense couldn’t get teams off the field on third down in 2014. This is the time for the Falcons to fix that. The quarterback can’t complete a pass if Beasley sends him to the turf.</p> <p>It is no surprise that the top four pass rushers are gone in the first eight picks. In this league, where teams pass it all the time, getting to the quarterback has never been so vital to success.</p>
