Round 6, Pick 186 – Zach Hodges – LB – Harvard –  6’2” 250 lbs.

An FCS All-American in 2014 and 2013 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year, Hodges lined up at inside and outside linebacker for Harvard. He would provide instant depth and could fill in across the board for the linebackers.

He double majored at one of the most prestigious colleges in the country so we know he is extremely intelligent. He plays with a high motor and is extremely selfless as he has shown a team first attitude throughout his collegiate career.

This kind of high character player is what Jerry Reese looks for in the NFL Draft. If you recall the 2014 draft Resse decided only for team captains that had leadership qualities. Hodges fits that mold.
