The Philadelphia Eagles Draft Needs:

The Eagles have three draft needs and they likely can only take care of two of them. They need a quarterback, that’s the need they may not be able to fill. The Eagles also need help in he secondary and in the pass rushing department.

The Eagles have Sam Bradford as their starting quarterback. It is arguable that Bradford still has to prove himself as a franchise quarterback. If you get traded away for Nate Foles, you have a serious credibility problem, right? Even if Bradford gets through the year without being hurt, the Eagles don’t have a franchise quarterback. The Eagles have to hope that Bradford can prove me wrong, because getting Mariota doesn’t seem likely.

The Eagles need major help in the secondary. If Landon Collins were to fall to the Eagles, they would probably take the Alabama strong safety. Other options in the secondary include Marcus Peters (who could fall due to character concerns) and Kevin Johnson who I have them taking in  my Final Mock Draft.

In terms of pass rushers the Eagles could draft Alvin Dupree or Eli Harold. If Randy Gregory or Shane Ray fall to the 20th pick they are also possible solutions for the Eagles. If the Eagles want to wait until the second round to address their pass rush needs they can take a guy like Nate Orchard.

The Eagles can probably survive the season with Bradford as their QB with their plethora of backups, but if the Eagles don’t improve in the secondary they will struggle in 2015.
