This is a receiver who I think falls into the fourth round, though I think he is good enough to go in the third. Montgomery is a YAC Monster. He excels at churning out yards after the catch. One of the principles of the west coast offense, which McAdoo runs, is getting receivers the ball in the open field and letting them break out big plays. Montgomery will be a guy who the Giants can use for underneath routes, screens and the intermediate passing game. Beckham Jr. and Cruz will be the home run hitters, Montgomery will be the guy who takes advantage of the coverage rolling their way. Montgomery is also a good kick return man.
