2. New York Jets Trade Up For Jameis Winston

Well, well, well, talk about a absolutely crazy trade scenario. The Jets are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback. Fans are tired of the years of mediocre quarterback play. The Jets traded up for Mark Sanchez, so it’s safe to assume they could do the same for one of the greatest prospects since Andrew Luck. The Jets could deal their 6th overall pick, their second round pick, their 2016 first round pick, and Geno Smith for the first overall pick.

That seems like something sweet enough for the Bucs to accept. The Jets of course would be gambling their whole entire future, but if you actually think about it they may be able to afford it. The Jets fixed their weakest positions in the free agency, so they kind of have a pass in a way. How mad could fans possibly be? They have Winston manning the helm and they got rid of Smith.

If Winston pans out to be who analysts say he is, the Jets could automatically become a contender in 2015. The weakest position they would have if this happened would be offensive line. Their offensive line is aging and is in desperate need of some youth.

Hopefully this time around the Jets will not loose this gamble like they did with Sanchez. After all, Winston is a much more sure fire prospect than Sanchez ever was. I think the NFL and New York would explode if a trade of this magnitude happened.
