1. Both Top Quarterbacks Fall

This has to be the most unlikely of all the crazy scenarios on this list. These are two of the top prospects in the draft and for them to fall would be just mind boggling. A drop would result in total chaos in the NFL world. Coaches and teams would be dying to know what the reasoning behind both respective quarterbacks falling.

In this scenario, Winston’s attitude and off the field scandals could go heavily against him. You would think that Tampa Bay would be exploding with excitement over getting hometown Florida boy in Winston. However, I haven’t seen a huge fan reaction so far. This could be linked up with fans believing that Winston will cause more trouble than actual good.

Mariota is Winston’s polar opposite. He is the ultimate nice guy and the kind of quarterback that every team wants. That’s exactly where the issue lies, Mariota might lack that quarterback charisma. Not every quarterback has it, but it is vital to winning and for NFL survival. Sometimes you need a kind of Cam Newton confident attitude to get by.

Some notable players who were high projected picks that fell are Teddy Bridgewater, Brady Quinn, Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino. While Quinn is not such an attractive option, he was considered a top overall prospect in his draft. Marino is one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. Tony Eason, Todd Blackledge, and Ken O’Brien were all drafted before Marino.
