The Giants suffered a huge loss this offseason with the departure of Antrel Rolle via free agency. It’s hard to fill up the void due to his leadership and presence he brought to the locker room. With that being said, the Giants wanted to head in a different and more importantly, younger direction at safety.

I think it makes sense to take the best safety in the draft to help address this team need in Landon Collins. He’s fast, has a high football IQ and would compliment those around him nicely. I don’t see why the Giants would bring in an offensive lineman or wide receiver but definitely either Collins or a dominating pass rusher is most likely what is going to happen.
