2. Leonard Williams, DE (USC)
It doesn’t get any better than USC defensive end Leonard Williams. Williams is the greatest defensive line prospect in this draft and this is a really outstanding defensive line draft. There is no doubt that Williams fits in any defense in fact on the defensive line he could play at any position. You could move Williams around all the time, how do you plan your offensive attack when you don’t know where this guy is? Because you will want to run away from him.
Leonard Williams has the size, strength and length to play in the 3-4 defense. He has the quickness and explosive traits that 4-3 defenses covet. Imagine J.J. Watt and Richard Seymour combined super powers, that is what you are getting with Williams.
I like Williams so much that I almost want the Giants to trade up to get him. He is that good.
