1. Nebraska DE, Randy Gregory

This was the biggest surprise of the draft in my opinion. Gregory just a month or two ago was projected as a top 5 pick and after his failed drug test at the combine has had his draft stock plummet.

His talent, size and length is just as good as anyone in this class, but he also comes with big concerns. He had an injury history at Nebraska and some off-field issues as well. He reminds me a lot of 49ers Linebacker Aldon Smith both on and off the field.

If the Giants could add a pass rusher like Gregory in the 2nd-round to work alongside Jason Pierre-Paul this could truly be a special front four for New York. If he’s still there at the Giants #40 pick I don’t know how they could possibly pass on him.
