6. Minnesota TE, Maxx Williams

Williams is widely recognized at the best Tight end in the draft and it truly surprised me when he wasn’t selected in the 1st-round. Could the Giants really be looking at a Tight end in the 2nd-round? I think so.

Larry Donnell had a very nice campaign in 2014, but many questions still remain in his ability to run block and his ball security. Williams even reminds some of former Giant, Jeremy Shockey. High praise.

This is one of those “value picks.” Does New York need a Tight end? Not really, but having a formidable 2 Tight end set with Donnell and Williams could give quarterback Eli Manning something really special to work with in the red zone.
