I had a feeling Landon Collins would drop because he was the best safety in an awful position class. It made me question if Collins was worth a top draft choice or if just stood out in a bad class.

Now, did I think he would fall out of the 1st-round? No way I could tell you that. Now that he has this could be a steal for New York considering their dire need for a starting safety.

Collins is an in-the-box type safety who is willing to lower the boom on the opposition. He could quickly takeover the void left by Antrel Rolle. He doesn’t possess the same ball skills as Rolle, but surely adds a toughness to a defense.
