Philadelphia Eagles Draft Grade: F

Chip Kelly, what world do you live in? This pick made absolutely no sense. Agholor isn’t a bad player but he isn’t a game changer and I had a second round grade on him. If the Saints took him with the 31st overall pick it would have been a reach but that at least would have been justifiable. You cannot defend Agholor being the 20th pick of the NFL Draft.

Their were great receiving options on the board that were leaps and bounds better than Agholor. Breshad Perriman, Jaelen Strong, Dorial Green-Beckham, and Devin Smith were all receivers I had ranked ahead of Agholor. This was the curveball of the draft that nobody saw coming.

While we know that anything is possible in the crazy Chip Kelly theme park that is the Philadelphia Eagles, this is beyond belief. Agholor will be decent but he will be outshined by the four receivers ranked ahead of him. The Eagles may have been able to get Agholor in the second round, making this an embarrassingly low value pick.
