3. New York Giants Draft Grade: A

The Giants took Ereck Flowers with the ninth overall selection. The offensive tackle from Miami filled a big need at an appropriate value. The Giants addressed what they believed to be the most concerning weakness of their team. The Giants drafted good players, drafted for obvious team needs and got tremendous value.

The Giants then traded with the Tennessee Titans to select Landon Collins, which kicked off the 2nd round. The Giants arguably drafted two top 15 players, getting Collins in the second round. Collins fall was a delightful surprise. He will make a gigantic impact on the 2015 Giants season.

Owamagbe Odighizuwa will help both the Giants run defense and passing defense. This was a great pick on a player with tremendous upside. Odighizuwa will be an impact player right away and he will continue to grow as a football player. The Giants made six very solid draft picks and every single pick made sense according to team need.
