2. The Impact He Has Immediately

I have good news Giants fans, Flowers will improve the running game. Flowers is a dominant run blocker that will help Shane Vereen and company tremendously. Last year the Giants got next to nothing out of the running game unless they played a bad defense like the Tennessee Titans. This year the Giants will get much more production from their running backs, running behind Flowers.

Flowers will probably not be a significant upgrade at the right tackle position on the pass protection standpoint. All rookie tackles go through growing pains. If Flowers has a tough start to his career, it is important to remember that he is a rookie.

Overall Flowers brings toughness to the offensive line. He is a big, strong and physical football player that will help the Giants offense take off to even higher heights in 2015 and the years to come.
