13. Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers

Randall Cobb signed a four-year $40 million contract to remain with the Green Bay Packers. It is an absolute plus for fantasy just for the fact that Cobb does not have to learn a new system and more importantly he stays with Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers is the leagues best Quarterback. He throws the ball a lot and never turns it over. Cobb is the number two receiver in Green Bay but their offense is so good he still caught 12 touchdowns. Cobb also saw 127 targets. In 2013 Cobb only played 6 games so you can compare the targets to 2012 where he saw 104. Obviously Cobb’s 2014 season was much better than his 2012 season. In 2012 Cobb caught 80 passes and 8 touchdowns in 15 games. In 2014 Cobb caught 91 passes and 12 of them went for touchdowns. In his injury plagued 2013 Cobb had 4 touchdowns in 6 games.

Randall Cobb continues to mature each year. Despite being a number two on the Packers depending on how you drafted and the size of your league he could have been your number one in 2014. Cobb plays with a great offense. Some people can be scared off thinking that Jordy Nelson or Eddie Lacey will get all of the touchdowns.

However the Packers offense is so great that Cobb is used a lot. Cobb was the second best receiver on his team but still ranked in the top of the touchdown list for 2014. Cobb can catch the ball deep but he can also turn a short play into a long one. Much like any player if Cobb avoids injuries that killed him in 2013 another monster year is probable.
